Post Sales FAQs " How to set up your E-Mail via Microsoft Outlook «Back After you have created your email via browser (http://www.vhostweb.com:8383), you can download your emails from the server to your computer by using Microsoft Outlook. Open Microsoft Outlook, click on Tool at the menu bar, then select "Accounts..." as shown in diagram 1 ‹Diagram 1

Click on Mail and select Add, and Mail Diagram 2

Enter your name that will be shown to your mail receivers, then press Next. ‹Diagram 3

Select "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use" ,then enter your full e- mail address for example: you@yourdomain.com. ‹Diagram 4

Select POP3 for My incoming mail server. Please enter mail.yourdomain.com (for example mail.vhostweb.com) in Incoming mail (POP3,IMAP or HTTP) server and Outgoint mail (SMTP) server. Then press Next. ‹Diagram 5

Enter your full email address (eg. you@yourdomain.com) and password. Then press Next. ‹Diagram 6

How to edit your E-Mail via Microsoft Outlook Open Microsoft Outlook, click on Tool at the menu bar, then select "Accounts..." Click on Mail folder, you'll see the account that you created. Select the account that you wish to edit, then click on Properties. ‹Diagram 8

In General folder, you can edit the details of the account as you wish. ‹Diagram 9

You can set up advanced settings as you wish in Advance folder as follows; - You can leave a copy of messages on server. - You can choose to remove those messages from server after certain day(s) or you can choose to remove them from server when you delete them from Microsoft Outlook. Then press Apply. ‹Diagram 10 To increase the security of sending email via SMTP server, we need to inform you to change some settings on your Outlook/or Outlook express. Please follow the following instructions below; If you check and send emails via Program Outlook Express. 1. Open Outlook Express > click on Tools > accounts 2. Tab email > Double click on your email address 3. Click on tab servers > at outgoing mail server and choose My server requires authentication 4. Click on setting and choose use same setting as my incoming mail server 5. Click OK but if you use MS Outlook, 1. Open Outlook Express > click on Tools > email accounts 2. Double click your on your email address 3. Click on more setting and select on tab outgoing server 4. Click on My outgoing server (SMTP) require authentication 5. Choose use name setting as my incoming mail server 6. Click OK If you don’t change the settings as above, you may experience some problem when you send emails.
